CERTIFICATE OF TYPE APPROVAL OF MEASURING INSTRUMENTS
A certificate of type approval of measuring
instruments (metrological certificate) is issued under Law N 53 of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Ensuring Uniform
Measurements” of June 7, 2000

A certificate of type approval of measuring
instruments is issued by Republic State Enterprise Kazakhstan Institute of
Metrology (RSE KazInMetr) of the Committee for Technical Regulation and
Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The following documents must be presented to RSE
KazInMetr for entering measuring instruments in the State Register of Measuring
Instruments of the Republic
of Kazakhstan (type
approval or metrological certification for each measuring instrument):
 draft of test program
draft of standardized test
document (test procedure)
manufacturer’s document
package, description, installation, operating and repair manuals (in the
manufacturer’s language and in Russian)
draft of type description
two13õ18 cm photographs of the item
manufacturer’s test results
for the item (in the manufacturer’s language and in Russian)
letter from the customer
allowing print publication of the type description (in Russian)
motivation letter for the
calibration interval (in Russian)
information on the
availability of methods and means for testing measuring instruments in the
Republic of Kazakhstan (technical feasibility of testing/calibrating measuring
instruments)
Kazexpoaudit LLP will develop and forward a document
package to RSE KazInMetr, arrange and perform type approval tests, and monitor
the document package until the certificate of type approval of measuring
instruments is received
In order to register measuring instruments in the
State Register, the applicant must submit a Power of Attorney to register
Measuring Instruments in the State Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan in
the name of Kazexpoaudit LLP (Add the words “of type approval of measuring
instruments” after the word “certificate” in the text of the Power of
Attorney)
