Production status is analyzed depending on the certification scheme.

In order to analyze (assess) production, audit experts and technical experts from the Conformity Assessment Agency (the Agency) and the Test Center of Kazexpoaudit LLP (the Test Center) go to the manufacturing plant stated in the product certification.

The procedure for analyzing the production status of certifiable products is established in the regulatory documents for the given products. The following checks are made during the procedure:

1) the availability of regulatory and technical documents and their condition;

2) observance of the production process and its metrological support;

3) the presence of incoming inspection, acceptance testing and periodic tests;

4) the presence of an equipment maintenance and repair system and test means;

5) the availability of raw and consumable materials;

6) quality consistency of the certifiable products;

7) availability of storage conditions;

8) availability of accounting and claims analysis.

For individual certification schemes, and if regulatory documents specify tests that are expensive and time‑consuming, and for products that are difficult to transport, where conducting certification tests is difficult and sampling is expensive, the Agency may decide to combine certification tests with tests conducted during the manufacturing process with the participation of representatives of the Agency and the Test Center according to the guidelines for testing for a specific area of accreditation.

These tests are conducted according to the procedure established for certification tests.

The results of the production status analysis are documented in a report with the respective conclusion and sent to the applicant. If the results are negative, certification of the stated products under the chosen scheme is stopped and the Conformity Assessment Agency notifies the applicant within three days.

After identified deficiencies are eliminated or another certification scheme is chosen, the applicant submits a new certification application.

Production status analysis is not performed if the applicant has a Quality Management System Certificate for certifiable products issued or recognized within the state technical regulation system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
